he bowls straight, Ive seen nothing but straight balls from him in 2 tests

The ball is curling all over the place, Clark would have revelled in these conditions

You are honestly trying to tell me Johnson bowls STRAIGHT???? 4 balls 2 feet outside off stump and the other two down the leg side is hardly bowling straight.

What have you been watching?

once the ball leave the hand it certainly doesnt swing

Dutchy, the cricket i have seen Stuart Clark play he has never swung the ball a great deal, as especially Anderson has so far, and it is his accuracy and slight movement off the pitch that has got him his success.

Had to pay that one. No umpire on the planet would have turned it down.

Brilliant bowling by the Poms (conditions are obviously helping)...

Definately gets swing off the pitch and this one has some juice in it, agree that Hilf will love these conditions

The bowling has been close to unplayable at times in these conditions. If Australia has the same conditions and bowls well, a low first innings score might have made a result more possible. If they don't bowl well, they don't deserve to win anyway.

In other words Dutchy, you can say you took AHs words on face value, where as I knew exactly what he was talking about - straight at the stumps.

Pity Manou did have to go out there in those conditions, it aint easy when it's swinging like that.

No sympathy at all from me.

If you don't offer a shot to a ball like that you deserve to be given out.

Absolutely, no benefit of the doubt if you dont play a shot...

Hang on you guys think he should be given out if the ball isn't hitting the stumps  . Whether a shot is offered or not if it ain't hitting the stumps it isn't out.

You watch the replay from where the umpire is standing and tell me would have given that not out? No way.

Every umpire in the world would have given that out IMO.

You swing it in the air and it cuts or spins off the pitch since when do you swing it off the pitch :? ?. The trouble has been caused by the ball moving in the air and very little by the movement off the pitch IMO. I don't disagree Clark would be doing well on this deck because he is a bloody good bowler and does well on most surfaces.

That may be the case, i don't know, but it still doesn't mean it is out. Simple if the ball isn't hitting the stumps it isn't out. Our batting has been poor so far this test and in the second but the contribution the umpires are making is far too significant IMO.

It hit him above the kneeroll... call me biased but there was plenty doubt in that decision at full speed. If there's doubt, it's not out.

One of the greatest tragedies of world cricket is the assumption that all umpires are biased towards their own country. Therefore the best Test cricket team in the world, never has their matches umpired by the best umpire in the world.

Remember when bowlers used to bowl 'line and length' instead of 'putting it the right areas' :? :)

I'm getting old.

One of the most amazing sessions of test match cricket you will ever see.

Another great tragedy in world cricket is how Australians instantly revert to blaming the umpires when they're getting flogged.
