In excess of 50 dot balls is not going to win you a 20/20 game.

if they score a single of 1/2 of them > 185 would have been a winning score.

NSW 6/161.

Another 20 would have still not been enough. Warner can hit a ball, that's for certain.

Spot SCD, their last game in Melb, they went about 7 - 8 overs at one stage where they scored off every ball.
NSW bowled with better variety than SA. Again No Balls costly. unforgivable in 20/20.

Result is just all to familiar. Great to see 13,000 + people there but they will drop away quickly unless they WIN WIN WIN WIN.

David Warner beat South Australia, he is potentially the best 20-20 player in Australia
20-20 is a different game, speciallist players are needed, my best line up would be

Warner
Blizzard
Ponting
Hussey [victoria]
White
Bailey
Ronchi
Hopes
Johnson
Harwood
Tait
Harris [south australia] Twelth man

Symonds, Watson ,Lee when fit enough would get a spot in ths team

Terrible batting and poor captaincy from Manou. Yeah finally bring the field up when they need just six runs from the last 14 balls

He did everything he could to help the vics over the line last match too, ultra conservative with mental blocks when the pressure is on.

In 20/20 and 50 over cricket, SA have no idea of how to pace themselves in the middle overs.

Why were they so conservative with 6 or 7 overs to go and only 2 or 3 down?

I agree his capancty was so poor, should have used more of cullen earlier cos the medium pacers were going everywhere. However his cach of Tait and some of his glovework hilighted the fact that he is still by far the best keeper in the country

Big call to say he's the best keeper in the country but he is a long way ahead of Haddin no doubt. His footwork is excellent.

I think Paines glovework and footwork is excellent and i would have him ahead of Manou.

Very true. That no-ball changed the match. How massive was Warner's hit on to the members stand off Tait?!

Even though the Redbacks lost it was still a good night out. Cullen and Tait bowled very well, we were let down a bit by not getting singles off the good balls rather than dot balls. 180 would've been a competitive total.

Bird from NSW looks like he throws it with the naked eye. Does anyone know if he has come under scrutiny for his action?
