Well put. They are smug. Whenever they bat first they play for a draw as their worst option. You'll hardly ever see them declare to put a bit of excitement in the game. They would rather put the fans to sleep than give Australia a chance. Boring pitches = boring cricket.

Gambhir was fined 65% of his match fee for an incident in 2007 when he barged in to Pakistan bowler Shahid Afridi while batting in a one-day match in Kanpur. He was found guilty of a Level 2 charge of inappropriate and deliberate physical contact between players and was also ruled to have breached a Level 1 condition of not conducting play with the spirit of the game

Got at the very least what he deserved. If Watson gets fined 10% of his match fee then Gambhir had to get a pretty harsh penalty. Sucked in to the piece of crap. As i said in an earlier post there is never ever an excuse for making deliberate physical contact with an opponent in cricket. It's a very low act.
