You’re ok with him mouthing off in that last over?

It's all good when you're up the safe end while the world's best bowler is operating.

In fairness he did charge the bloke first ball and hit him for a four. In cricket terms his not just the mouthy one at the back of pack behind the big boys

Got to laugh at cricketers acting tough when there is zero chance of them getting a smack in the face.

He's currently on 7 and we're 1/9 mate.

It's how he bats, high risk, high reward, he's an Aussie so I'll support him.

I like it, should be more of the batsman giving it to the bowlers, why should all the sledging be one way?
Yeah i get that you open yourself up as its just one mistake and youre done as a batsman but still, make hay while the sun shines and stick it up the bowlers.
Again Kohli got involved in the celebration that he did nothing to earn

Worked through his dismissal last week and found a way to survive tonight.

He chose to face first ball, charged him first ball, his got big ball. As long as he lives and dies by the sword with his mouth I’m ok with it.

He won't. He has put HUGE pressure on himself and will receive the just send off when he nicks off early.
He does nor have the game to back up his ego.
He has to pull his head in... was the confrontation really worth saving an extra over being bowled.
The Indians didn't just take a wicket... they are now in the fight. You saw their reaction... that galvanised teams.
Someone has to get on his ear.

People accepting it cos He is 19... and carry on at Marnus for much less.

He's obviously one of these openers that prefers to face the first ball, most opening partnerships rotate.

I always preferred to face and get it over and done with, it was more often than not half-volleyish outside off so I always took a chance while the field was up.

At a rough guess I'd say facing Bumrah would be a bit harder than what I was up against.

His playing test cricket, the pressure doesn’t ease off because your a quiet nice guy.

His in the fight as well, which I’m guessing is what he wants. His clearly rattled the Indians but the way they are reacting.

Yep and we despite playing crap cricket would have also played against batters who were at their best when you got into verbals with them and they were in a fight. Off the top of my head the McIntyres used to deliberate start arguments when batting, you just had to try and ignore them.

Albeit I accept that’s a completely different standard of cricket.

I was the same in any big game big moment get out there and face the first ball

Anyway, enough about Konstas, I want to know how Rishabh got out there again, did he sit in a fridge after he got out?

Mouthing off at the best bowler in the world from the non strikers end when you have the other team down and out just shows his immaturity

I guess the pressure is off Khawaja after another failure, all the talk will be Konstas.
Can not take him to Sri Lanka, he will score runs and book himself 5 Ashes tests at an average of about 12

We will see how he goes tomorrow
I haven't seen anything that gives me confidence he will back up his mouth tomorrow. Won't pass 20

You do raise a point that's forgot in all this drama... Khawaja is cooked.

I’m more than ok with him dancing down or trying to ramp the best bowler in the world if that’s his go. That’s him v the bowler and he will win or lose that by himself.

Just shut your mouth with all the other stuff… not needed and you look like a disrespectful tool.

Most suburban teams wouldn’t put up with that from a new upstart… not sure why the Aussie team needs to accept it because he’s cool and popular with the kids.

Didn’t like his 60 odd in the last test. Almost double of what our openers could produce.

Don’t be fooled by the ‘show’. He creates bad balls, example being the whip of his leg this innings for a single of Bumrah. The 1 in 4000 ball that Bumrah bowls down leg. Bumrah then sprayed one massively outside off. Bumrah didn’t bowl a single ball that would have hit the stumps to him, yet to Khawaja he delivered some crackers including a beautiful wicket ball

The equation is pretty simple.

If he’s any good, he’ll make runs and hang around a while.

If not, then it won’t take long to find out.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.
