this is a huge call BUT looking at player of the series, I would almost say Carey. I know it is most likely Starc or Trav and both are deserving but if you look at the whole series i think Carey's impact throughout all 5 games has been the difference in key moments.

Will be 36 and 39 respectively, given how many consecutive tests Lyon played and then how much he has missed through injury over the past couple of years the questions will be asked, it's great that he's only playing the red ball stuff but it's also a 5 day gamble each time, especially if he breaks down on day one.

Has Hazelwood ever broken down during a game?

Hazelwood came off with Hamstring awareness in the last shield game before the 1st test, when scanned 3-4 days later a strain was found.

What's scary is that this was a game in which he was being managed, to a point, with a defined workload. You don't get that luxury in a test. He's a definite risk going forward.

How could Green or Webster let Neser be the night watchman? Surely either of them would be begging to get a chance to bat at 4. Especially Webster, who now comes in at 9. His 120kmh mediums won’t keep him in the side.

Yep Webster should have been the night watchmen given he was coming in at 8 and now will be 9.

F***, I'd hate to see how much negativity and whinging would go on in here if we lost the series.

They came over here full of confidence, we were going "ok" at best and lost 3 of our 4 frontline bowlers yet all I've read all series is how Trav should be dropped, Trav isn't interested, no one is trying, there's no celebration when we take a wicket, we are shit, we don't try anything, we try doing too much. Just take a few minutes out of the day to appreciate that we've won the series, we're in a dominant position in this match despite all the shit-canning pre-match and since the first session.

We're doing alright for a team that has holes everywhere and needs to improve so much, roll on South Africa to put us to the test.

I like it mate, call it out. It's seems it just easier for people to whinge/shit can/get their back up about something the team/a certain player is doing and they can't do anything right in their eyes no matter how successful they are.
