edit.
2 golden quackers in a row
The result wasn't as embarrassing as what it could of been and Stoinis and Sams batted very well to give us a chance but the damage was already done in the first innings as all the bowlers went the journey.Lightning McQueen wrote:The Bedge wrote:This is embarassing.
I think it had to happen, tall poppy syndrome.
Here's our chance to wake up and play our best side and have our best squad there for insurance, it's good for our future.

Who you scoring off? Hook me up!!!
Reckon Finch still holds the record at International of 76 balls.daysofourlives wrote:Lightning McQueen wrote:Eagles2014 wrote:106 off 92

Exactly, i doubt any batsman has ever faced 92 balls in a T20.
Maybe TDK can tell us the top 5 for balls faced in T20 cricket. It would be hard to face any more than 75 imo

I do remember the media making a huge deal about Stoinis in the BBL so perhaps similar?

As I've said previously this series is a good chance to have the guys one the verge of being in Australia's best T20 team show if they're up to the level or not. With an unchanged team for today they were obviously backing those guys in and now after the two losses you'd think there will be some changes for the third game.
Agar and Kane Richardson are surely the most likely to be replaced while I think Finch has too many 'credits in the bank' I won't be surprised if his spot comes under question, same with Maxwell to a lesser extent and Wade would want a big score if he plays at the top of the order in the next match.
