When instead of dropping the out of form all rounder you drop a front line bowler to try to cover for him by bringing in another all rounder

Agreed. I never agreed with the Richardson selection either. There’s no shortage of fast bowlers around the country that were worthy of an opportunity

Looks a good pitch to bat on, we just need some BazBall shots so they get themselves out.

This looks to be one of the least intimidating bowling lineups of all time for Australia. Very pop gunnish attack

England going at just under 5 an over without taking any risks

More mature innings today from Harry Brook

These 2 have history with at least 3 x 300 plus run stands in test cricket

Know they have a multitude of similar partnerships in County cricket

Need a breakthrough sooner rather than later

Ronnie just keeping the inner sanctum happy.

Khawaja gets his farewell

Webster needed to get a game because his been around the squad all summer and it wouldn’t be fair if he didn’t. Can’t drop Green coz he is the ‘future’

Aussies look real flat apart from Carey who is keeping well. Even the wicket celebrations seemed very business as usual. Flat performance may just be met with a couple of days in the field.

Not sure we should be surprised though with the comments coming from the Australian camp after the Boxing Day test loss, especially from Trav and Ronnie.

I wonder if Australia would have picked the same team if the series was still alive.

The Ashes are done. Thanks Ronald. We haven't fired a shot since he said that. Disgraceful.

3-211 and it’s too dark for the batters!!!

No wonder South Africa aren’t playing a home test series this year in favour of t20.
