Thunders batting is as thin as ours so not without hope but its been a very poor batting performance

An Afghan 19yo bowler puts our batters to shame. And a South African. WTF is going on.

R Kahn is certainly a polarising character. Wouldn’t be surprised if he got on the wrong side of someone

How do you figure that? I dont see it.
Reckon he's always got a smile on his face.
He reminds me of what everyone thought of the poor little Sri Lankans back in the 80s and 90s until they won the World Cup

The Bedge wrote:I'm not the worlds biggest Neser fan, i'd rather Jono Dean for the extra bat, but to compare him to Jake Neade is harsh - Neser a few years ago had very good BBL seasons, and generally speaking he picks up wickets. He also strikes at better than a run a ball, considering he doesn't face many it's not the worst.

Going backwards:

0/47 v Hurricanes
2/7 v Heat
2/42 v Sixers
0/5 v Thunder
2/14 v Renegades
1/25 v Stars
0/28 v Hurricanes
2/37 v Scorchers
2/15 v Renegades
3/26 v Hurricanes

Bat: 269 runs @ 19.21 S/R 116.95 HS 40*
Bowl: 41 wickets @ 26.04 Eco 8.74

3/29 v Sydney Thunder
Very handy allrounder

The. Best. BBL.Bowling. Lineup. Fullstop.

Sadly I cannot see how we can go all the way with our batting lineup. Once Head leaves (after Tuesday) our 4 to 7 will consist of Dean Wells Lehmann and Nesser. Wow.

Side note. Jonno Wells is worth runs in the field.

Yep one gun batter short but our bowling attack looks by far the best going around. Everyone is different which matters a lot in T20.

I still think the Scorchers can lay claim to the best bowling attack (on paper, realise half are unavailable lol)

I like how the Strikers look at the moment, will get more of an idea over coming games though - still yet to play the Renegades who have easily the best batting lineup, and the Scorchers who are a good bowling unit.

Also think the Heat are a bit of a sleeping giant at the moment - Burns, McCullum, Lynn, Peirson, Ross is as good a top order as any, and have good variation with the ball.
