Queensland - more than 1 stadium. Not comaprable
Perth - dont share stadiums. Not comparable
Sydney - have 3 stadiums . Not comparable
Melbourne - have 2 stadiums. Not comparable

Well thought out point you make.

Any other big statements you want to make up and then try and claim as FACT!!!!

Where are cricket and football played in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne? And Adelaide in 2014. And guess what will happen in Perth in the not too distant future.

I've put a little bit of thought into (5 minutes), but aren't obsessed by the Adelaide oval redevelopment.

Anything to add?? :-)

I gather most football supporters will be happy with the changes. No surprise that people making the decisions in Adelaide are ******* it up. It's the Adelaide way. Doesn't change my thinking that football moving to Adelaide oval, or the redevelopment is a bad thing though.

Exactly

Ticketing arguments between SACA and SANFL don't change my views on the new stadium.

You should get a sandwich board and stand on the corner of rundle mall/king william street. Would have much more success than your posts on here.

p.s. You'll be pleased to know, I voted for the redevelopment, despite living interstate. I look forward to visiting it..........one day.

Surely after all these years the old boys in striped ties at the SACA can see that transferrable tickets are what the paying public want.

No real surprise that the Ultimate ticket sham didnt work.

How many Platinum Port Members ( like me ) or Gold Adelaide Members would be wanting to line the pockets of the other organisation and really only add One Test match and 2-3 One-Dayers into the cricket side of things?

As for concerts or "other" events, if you want to see a major gig in Adelaide you can get a ticket. Big acts like AC/DC and the Foo Fighters who sold out the AO I had no trouble getting tickets for.

Ultimate scam.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

What's the point of sharing a stadium with that organisation then. at the cost of $600 mill btw ??

It wasn't my idea/"solution" (it was your SACA's Management) nor did I have a vote (80% of your fellow SACA members voted yes, not me).

You gonna go to any games next year?

YOU JUST 100% SUPPORTED THE IDEA AND LABELLED THOSE WHO DIDNT AS ???????????????????????????????????Cos I can get the quotes Hondo if youd like.

I must apologise if my pointing out that the NO voters were correct all along annoys you. BUt all I can say is get use to it. 10 months out to the first ever AFL game(a showdown) in our new state of the art stadium and 6500 people care.

I can assure you I plan to attend as many AFl games next year as I have done this year and last year and the year before that...........

Whats your suggestion for a protest Hondo . Take a choir of elderly people to the airport ???

But SACA management didnt personally accuse me and other NO voters as paranoid conspiracy theorists whose sole motivation was to hold the state back.

Guess who did Hondo ??????????????

Honest question : without ultimate memberships what is the point of SMA.

Why not just have football run the stadium when in its designated time. Cricket run it for their time ??

No its was the SMA that bedazzled the SACA members with their glossy brochures and promises that they are now breaking. Read the title of the thread, it is all playing out like we thought. Many members are now feeling duped by the SMA...
