Won't missing for a while, they played one bad game and now your back ;)

Can't believe people are even saying something is fishy, enjoy it for what it was, one amazing game of cricket where some special talent stood out

Sri Lanka would still have to lose to Australia on Friday. It will then come down to who has the superior run-rate.

Nevertheless, an unbelievable innings from India. I'd like to see what they could make if they had the full 50 overs!!!

From what I heard it comes down to head to head.
India 2
Sri Lanka 1
1 tie

Can never understand why in a 3-side comp, because it means the side with the worse record against the top team, who obviously they have to play in the finals, gets through.

It net run rate that decides who plays.

Are you sure smac? Channel 9 commentators were adamant it was head-to-head.

Why does the table have nrr then? Wasn't listening to the commentary, could well be the case - a strange move.

Don't know.
Used to always be the run rate, which may not be perfect, but makes more sense.
Hopefully it won't matter by the Sri Lankans winning Friday.

If there is a tie on points it goes to a head to head results if these are the same it then goes to net run rate.

Clarke doubtful for Friday's match, his back isnt 100% and the selectors wont risk him if he isnt right.
Not sure who will be called up, Bailey would be next in line but is playing shield cricket

It has NRR in case the head to head is even (which is doubtful considering you play 4 matches against each side)

Bailey is without doubt next in line, which is shown by him being picked in the WI squad

Forrest and McKay out, Lee and Clarke in, Aus batting first.

Very stiff for Peter Forrest.

Forrest and Clarke in the same side are a worry I would think. Warner is lucky but they have invested a lot of time into him so I don't think he was ever going to get dropped.

I think McKay is unlucky to be dropped for lee
