1st Test V India starting Boxing Day

Finding it a touch ironic australian cricket fans complaining about over appealing. Brad Haddin would be close to the worst in world cricket today and ponting wouldn't be far behind.

While the score is only average i was extremley impressed with the attitude today.

Out of all the batsmen imho Marsh was the only one who got out playing an ordinary shot.

Impressed with the opening combination of Cowan and Warner, very opposite and bowlers have to bowl in totally different line and lengths to the two.

Obviously Cowan and Hussey very unlucky, i know its early but i cant see Cowan been dropped, thats the attitude of an opening batsmen that we have been lacking since Langer retired. I think the selectors will really rate his innings. Hussey could be in trouble when Watson comes back, i reckon the selectors would love to see Watson come back in the middle order.

Anyway that type of batting attitude is what i can handle even if it doesnt always come off. Haddin been a prime example. Really hope he goes on with it and hits a ton.

F...................................................................................KING CHANNEL 9
If they cant telecast the WHOLE days play, offer it to a channel that can

630-700 A Current affair
700-730 The big bang theory
730-800 The big bang theory
800 -830 The big bag theory

Is it that hard to change the batting order
News 630-700 etc etc
And then only have 2 Big Bangs instead of 3

AU 6/277 STUMPS
THAT KEEPER 21*[60] silence is golden

Thought that Cowan batted well. He was very determind today, and fought on well. Unlucky bat thats life.
Im sure glad that we braught S.Marsh back in for Khawaja. Plenty of value for those 6 balls.
Ponting was going alright and got a good one and Warner looked good until he played that shot.

Anyway at 6/277 the day is very evenly matched. We probably need about 350 runs at a minimum. Hopefully Siddle and Haddin and get a few runs tomorrow.
