QL 5/170[20]
LUMB 42[33] tried hard, at last showed some better form, must have had Lumbago most of the summer
HOPES 5[6]
PHILLIPSON 32[26] tried hard, just not up to it
REARDON 56[45] one trick pony, step to the leg and try and hit it over mid wicket, but his intent was good
SIMPSON O [1]
FLOROS 17*[10] tried to bat like Reardon
CUTTING 1*[1] at last a promotion !

They tried but 202 was always too much for this line up
In the end 170 is not a bad effort chasing at night time
Where was this intent last night against NSW ?
IF QL keep batting like this they will be a much better team
They blocked, pushed at about 20 balls, which I guess is about par for getting to 170

Without Gayle it was this score
WA 4/100[13.2]
QL 5/170[20]
There4 I cant bag the Banana benders, unlike last night

The only criticism chasing 202 is the openers
SIMPSON is a dead set slogger and should have opened, if he clicked and QL were 70+ after 6 overs, you never know

WA
NO Marsh
NO Gayle
Means too many correct batsman needing to slog
Unless RONCHI gets going they will struggle to bat a big total

IF WA bat first a slight hope
IF TA bat first they look very likely winners

MY ODDS IF WA BAT FIRST

TA $1-60
WA $2-20

ODDS IF TA BAT FIRST

TA $1-25
WA $4-20

Ronchi and Pomersbach are their only two worth looking at...

No-one else can dominate...

Why did Gayle play tonight and Pollard not play for the Redbacks yesterday?
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Gayle quite plainly only cares about T20, he's said that in the media...

Actually, that's just my bias coming out...

Because the Redbacks next game is after they had to leave, the Warriors last game was not.

TA V WA
TA 7/170
WELLS 0[4]
COSGROVE 49[44] too slow, and thats as good as he can hit the ball
COWAN 8[7]
BAILEY 51[30] good enough to play for AU in 20/20, he murders bowlers
BIRT 25[13] Boom Boom good enough to play for AU in 20/20, he murders bowlers
10DOESCHOATE 5[5] needs to improve
LOCKYEAR 12[8] when are they gunna open with him, dumb to bat him 7
KREZJA 14*[7] lovely
NAVED 1*[1]
SWART 3/31[4] good skidder
LEWIS 0/46[3]

RONCHI dropped BIRT on 0
BAILEY came in at 2/39 and played a blinder under pressure
BAILEY was asked by Jess the beautiful boudary rider after being bowled playing the reverse sweep
"" You favoured the sweep""
"' Amazes me how stupid I am sometimes"" [Heez a brilliant talker that Georgie Porgie]

TA slow early but have made 170 which should be enough
WA with no Christopher Gayle might have about 15 too many to chase

LOCKYEAR
has done SFA this season
hit 12 off 8 b4 being run out
a six he hit of Hogan , a very good bowler, was the sweetest shot of the innings
but he is a magnificent hitter of good fast bowlers
when he gets going up the top, watch how good he is
he is a dead set opener, anywhere else he is wasted

wa $3.80

i would have thought the $1.25 was pretty good value at half time (i'd have tassie at $1.10)
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

NAVED 0/0[0.1] another great bowling effort by the cleverest bowler in the 20/20 comp

WA 2/26 6]
A stunning effort by the non weetbix eating WA top order

LUKE RONCHI would be scratching his balls in wonderment

Sorry Mal, can't tell if this sarcasm, I rate the bloke as a 20/20 bowler. Absolute worst mullet I have witnessed.

It is just me or are Tassie doing a Ranatunga with the big fella Cosgrove. They have big bad brendan Drew substituting for Cossie, they are at the opposite ends of agility and fielding ability.
