Just laughing at Nassar Hussein's pitch report. He says if England can enforce the follow on, they should do it. He went on to say even if Australia made 500, England could easily chase down 300 on the last day. An insight as to why Nassar had little success as a captain :)

Following on is the only way Australia can win this Test.

All out 215 and the follow-on not enforced ... the great follow-on debate rages in the commentary box

I've got to admit for mine I think the only chance we have/had of winning was by them not enforcing the follow on. If we bowl real well here and bowl them out for say 250 I think there would be more chance of us chasing down 450 on a road like this than if we batted and got 200 in front and had to try and stop them chasing it down especially with the injury to Hauritz.

Did that all just make sense? It sounded good at the time! :)

Can't follow Shane Warne at the moment. He's on about the follow on, saying England should have enforced it, and then he starts up about how hard it is for the Aussie pace men to front up again after only 24 hours. Wouldn't it be even harder for the bowlers had England bowled again straight away? These former Test players confuse me at times :)

Didn't hear those specific comments (as I'm channel surfing) but generally I must say that Warnie's commentary is usually refreshing, insightful amd makes a lot of bloody good sense. As mentioned the other night would have made a fantastic test captain.

AB and Atherton agreed with me and said the poms should've enforced the follow on however we're bowling like absolute crap and needed to give a good account of ourselves.

Might sound harsh but unless he turns it around quick smart and Hauritz is alright to go on I'd be dropping Johnson for Stuart Clark after this match we just can't afford to keep carrying him when he's bowling this poorly.

Unfortunately that's not as stupid as it sounds! FFS, I hope he can turn it around ... soon.
