Good to see he has made you look silly RR ;) ;) . He has bowled beautifully today and has done the job that has been asked of him well.

Thats what I like about you RR, you always admit what you have previously said when it turns out wrong, howver, lets be honest one innings does not make a test cricketer, but what he has showed today definately shows he has something

I'm more than happy to admit when i'm wrong but you are right, one spell does not make a Test cricketer. All i said was that today he looked like a Test cricketer and i never thought i'd have to say that. Fingers crossed he keeps producing similar spells and actually becomes a Test quality off spin bowler.

Agreed one good spell doesn't make him a test cricketer but it is good that he has showed he is capable of producing it. Like you guys i do hope he can do it for many more test matches. Good move to give him a rest now and get Johnson on to clean up the fragile tail.

They can only play for half an hour after the scheduled close of play. This will finish at 5:30pm Adelaide time regardless of overs.

well they are not going to bowl 15 overs in 45 mins with the pace attack on, do we now sit back and wait for the crap of Ponting being suspended because of slow over rates and especially seeing Hauritz has bowled such a long spell

Why isn't the iso cameras used for those run outs? The primary use for those things appears just to focus on ball hitting bat, a bail spinning, or sweat pouring off a player. All trivial things, but the standard 24 or 30 frame (not sure which one is used) so often results in missing the vital action for those run outs.

And quite conveniently 6pm for Melbourne and Sydney viewers. The tea break for the Perth match coincided with the news, the Adelaide test times was tweaked for the same reason. A brilliant business ploy of course, however I still can't see why the news can be either at 5:30, 6 or 6:30pm, depending on where you are.

Just get the feeling Ponting has taken the foot off the South Africans throats by taking Siddle and Hauritz off. Hope i'm wrong but the batsmen look a lot more comfortable since the change particularly against Lee.

He just isn't doing anything with the ball and his pace has gone only bowling about 138-142 atm.

Morkel was let off the hook a bit with Siddle and Hauritz being taken off. He is the best of the lot and he still isn't much good. Why is Lee still on :?
