A couple of posters have posted that Clarkes get out shot was a shocker
Not really
He's been playing that shot all his life
Played it lots of times in his big scores of recent times
Gets him out, but gets him plenty of runs

Just woke up to see bell ton up, 4th time in last 5 games against australia he has done so. England win the day to lead by 202 runs with 5 wickets in hand. Real danger man for australia now is Prior, he is due a big score. Harris takes 3 for the innings with Lyon the other 2.

We still can't get Bell out. We've done well on the other England big guns but for us the Bell continues to take it's toll.

Who comes in next test. Is Henriques over there or ia big show the next cab off the rank. Not much chance of going in with 6 outright batsmen i wouldnt have thought.

Do the Aussies go with an extra seamer with Watson out and shallow the batting?

Or do you bring in Wade or Hughes as an extra batsman and risk not being able to bowl them out, remembering need to monitor Harris's workload?

Or go left field and play 2x spinners and bring Agar back in, bat him around 7 or 8?

Watson is still our best All rounder option, weather you like him or not.
Do we to for a like for like - options are - Mitch Marsh, Henriques. Both been playing recent Aust A matches.
Starc batting 7 won't work.
If Wade plays and bowls medium pacers, kick in the face to all players, embarrassing for everyone else.

I hope not.
If you correct his 98 to 6 (when he should have been given out stumpped), he averages 9.50
Sure that's not everything, but he's no alrounder (yet?).
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!
