Wonder how many changes will be made seeing as though this was the worst performance in Australian cricket in 40 years. Cowan, Clarke, Siddle and Lyon are the only ones who can hold their heads up.

Either Siddle is knackered from battingn or not rated by Watson, only bowler not to have a trundle yet. Would have thought he would have been throwing the bowlers around at very least in an attempt to get wickets.

Lol dont rate Pattinsons performance 2nd most wickets, also think Steve Smith can hold his head up considering he has finished with the second highest batting average this tour.

Cowan and Clarke most definatly been our two best bats this series.

How can Pattinson hold his head up, when he was suspended for a test match for apparent ill discipline?

This is how i rated the bowlers this series in order.

1. Pattinson got early wickets early on in the series when it was on the line, silly supsension cost him a test match

2. Lyon- should have been bowling in tandem with another spinner from the beginning, worse decision in the last ten years to drop him for the second test, got better and better as the series went on. Is Australias number 1 spinner comfortably.

3. Siddle- yes he worked hard and bowled tight but you dont win test matches without taking wickets. Failed to make ANY inroads in to the top order. Apart from one 7 over spell in the third test he didnt look getting the tail out never mind the batsmen

4. Maxwell- yes he bowls a shite load of rubbish but did take 6 wickets @ 25 and a better economy than Lyon, statistically he bowled better than Lyon but bowls to much rubbish and is a knob anyway.

5. Starc- bowled one decent over when he got the ball to reverse which got the Aussies back into that test, bowled ordinary otherwards.

6. Henriques- bowled tight but never looked like taking wickets along with Siddle they just milked them without any trouble for around 3 an over.

7- Smith- got Tendulkar, bowled alot of junk, isnt a bowlers bumhole batted really well.

8- Mitchell Johnson & Xavier Doherty- bowled JUNK in limited oppurtunites.

Only bowlers for me to get a pass mark on performance were Pattinson and Lyon, while Maxwell is close because i would have bet that junk would never ever ever get a test wicket.

Siddle gets a pass for effort as he will every time, taking 3 wicket out of the top 6 batsmen in four test 7 innings on ANY conditions in the world is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Doesn't even deserve to be playing.

Cowan another unlucky lbw.

How so,was averaging over 40 in the shield for the last 3-5 years.

Batted the best out of the fringe batters in the tour match

Has taken his oppurtunities when presented.

His Australia's new number 5!!!!

Get around the blonde don TSG his here to stay for the Ashes

Lucky to be picked for the tour. Got his opportunity because of ridiculous suspensions.

Your own words mate, the supensions were ridiculous.

Certainly. Didn't say the punishment fit the crime, but Pattinson still got himself into that situation.

Dropping Lyon is probably the dumbest thing selection wise that has been done in recent memory and that is saying something. He has learnt so much this tour and he is one we really need to stick with. He's by so far the best spin bowler Australia has it's not funny.

I'm positive we won't see the disgraceful pitches we have seen in India. Hopefully the next time India come to Australia, we "return the favour".
