He will on the Indian decks!!!

some people act like they have never seen cricket on the sub continent before, if McGrath, Lee, Gillespie couldn't get the job done what makes us think any of our current pace combinations could
Whilst I agree with that, id still rather a quick than Doherty
Warne struggled over there, his average was double that of anywhere else.
If probably the greatest bowler ever struggled there how will Doherty go?
He would struggle to knock over a park side

How many runs will Laxman and Dravid score this series?

Thank f*** those 2 aren't around, and Sachin hasn't scored a hundred in a while. He will probably get 3 this series.

Doherty is a long-form hack.
Lyon and Ashton Agar to play.

Ashton Agar is on his way home isn't he? Only went over as a net bowler for the first group.

From my understanding he was going over as a net bowler for entire test trip

This says otherwise....2nd last Paragraph

ninemsn wrote:Western Australia's 19-year-old left-arm spinner Ashton Agar, who has been included in the squad as a net bowler and is heading home this weekend, was mobbed by teammates after removing No.7 Parvez Rassol (36) caught at silly point at 7-199. Agar took 1-27 and did not look out of place alongside his higher-profile teammates.

So old mate Smith has barely bowled in the Shield all year, then he gets picked in a Test squad as a batsmen but they decide to bowl him as well just to see how he's landing them. Laughable

Are you bitter because he got the second top score and has EARNT his spot in the test side as a batsmen if selected.

He bowled 4 overs in a friendly they were junk he won't bowl again big deal!

You're on drugs if you think he has EARNED his spot with a 41. Who is he going to replace?

If henriques is getting the ball to reverse, he will play in the first test.

His earnt the right to have cracks at international level through continued performances at first class level.

His last 3 tests which were against England he did average 35 which meant he was hardly the worse performer in that series.

I wouldn't know anything about his ODI performances and stuff.

I'm not saying 41 is great but if a batting spot comes down to him, Khawaja, Henriques or Maxwell he was the best performing batter.

Henriques bowling performance has thrown a spanner in the works.

None of those you mentioned will be picked as a batsman. Henriques will get picked as the allrounder. No spot for smith sorry.
