Are India even guaranteed a place if they get the bonus point?

Again showing my youth, but this is the best ODI batting I have seen ever.
Kohli and Raina, both of whom I am a huge fan of, are awesome.

Run a ball for the bonus point win.

Sri Lanka would still have to lose to Australia on Friday. It will then come down to who has the superior run-rate.

Nevertheless, an unbelievable innings from India. I'd like to see what they could make if they had the full 50 overs!!!

Yeah good chase by India but once again only did it on a flat track. If they make the finals we wont give them pitches like that.

Wont get to a 3rd if we play India.
They are only good for one game every 5.
Would love Friday's game to be rained out and Sri Lanka go through with a draw

In best Richie Benaud voice:
What a marvellous display of skillful batting

between Virat Kohli, the man who will lead India's next generation of FTB's 133* (86 balls), the greatest innings I have seen in an ODI
and Suresh Raina, who I think could be one of the best limited overs batsmen going around, by the time India return to our shores 40* (24)

Do not forget a 54 run opening cut off in the seventh over.

SL Malinga 1/96 (7.4) *Brod has anyone been carted for more in less than 8 completed overs?

And early I thought Sri Lanka had it covered, Dilshan 160* and Sangakarra 105

NO

Malinga's Economy rate of 12.52 is THE WORST IN ODI HISTORY (min 30 balls)
Previous record
7 overs 0/87 - Econ 12.42
Tapash Baisya (Bang v Eng)
SR Clark (Aus v WI)

This was the best cricket match I've ever seen:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifth_ODI, ... in_2005-06

Someone said at the time that match was like T20 cricket on steroids.

Aside from the whole us setting the world record and SA chasing it down it included the most expensive bowling performance in the history of ODI cricket, Mick Lewis going 0/113 off his 10 overs.

Great batting display by the Indians, if they make the finals I think they will win the series. Thats got to give them alot of confidence.

I know its early in his career but Kohli may end up as good as Tendulker IMO

Unbelievable win, but any win by a sub-continental side that is out of the ordinary ( like last night ) will always have us suspicious.

Sri Lanka very ordinary said rely on only a couple of players who are truly international standard, as i have said previously a very overrated one day side.

Never saw Ricky Pontiny in the World Cup final against the Indians in South Africa MP? That is the greatest innings i have ever seen in a one dayer.
