I don't think ronchi is the best option because keeping work is not up to it. At the moment payne and manou is the best option on form.

Can't see us getting up here unless Clark gets back in the wickets in the second innings and Lee goes on a rampage with him. A draw at best but given our batting form it's looking more like another schelacking. Not that anyone wouldn't already know this, but a HUGE difference in the home series last time was Clark's decimating bowling; constricting as well as knocking them over. He is doing the former beautifully, really hope he gets everything together in the second innings.

RR LAXMAN
Great batsman on flat tracks
Will always be remembered for plundering our attacks but where ?
Indian flat tracks and the SCG
I will remember how good he is
But I can remember how bad he has looked at times as well
Has produced several match winning innings to compliment his match losing innings as well

Think back to the Gabba last Indian tour when he crapped himself against the short rearing stuff
His disMissAL was an embarrasment

SHEWAG/TENDULKAR have made runs on bouncy tracks and are far superior batsmen

It never gets any easier watching these short batting survival stints. *cringing with every ball* :(

Laxman is a very good batsmen. any one whos scores 6 hundreds including 2 double hundred against the aussies must be able to bat, he averages over 50 against australia, when australia had Mcgrath and Gillespie opening and Warne for most of those tests

Kumble averages 15.4 at Delhi - partly due to Delhi being the venue where he took 10/74 in the one innings.

As you all know I'm a blueboy all summer long but I reckon Haddin should hand over his baggy green for that. VERY disappointing.

Good solid start. Hayden looks very determined to make a big score. Finger crossed he does. The Kat is the Kat. Solid as always. Looks awkward but he's sure effective.

Batting ave about 30 is good for a keeper
Hes doing OK
Guess he was shocked when
A: Laxman edged a ball
B: Watson found the edge
C :

No excuses for Haddin. I don't reckon you can let that lapse......go through to the keeper.

Watson/Gambhir incident. Watto is pretty stiff to be facing a hearing on this one. Gambhir made the physical contact. Interested to hear MAY-Z's take on this. I guess he will feel it's Watto's fault that he was standing where Gambhir was intending to deviate and push. Surely Watto should have been aware that Gambhir was going to do this and gotten well out of the way

I don't stick up for Watto on too many things but if any punishment is handed out to him it is a farce. Gambhir on the other hand should get a hefty penalty. It is never ever okay to make deliberate physical contact with and opponent on a cricket field.
