NZ always well beind the RRR...very hard to chase at teh Gabba...pitch gets very slow in the humid night conditions

BUT he cost NZ the game.

In an over of FLINTOFF with about 20 overs to go he left 5 balls
outside off stump too pass without playing a shot.
He hit his first 25 of about 30 balls
his last 81 off 120 balls not quick enough.
He ran out TAYLOR when they were cruising.
He put pressure on the crackerjack middle order who for a change failed.

Had he got out for 50 off his 75 balls earlier today his great middle order
would have got in earlier and nailed England.

How did they LOSE :roll:

Regarding Fleming, agree entirely Mal!! Also took about 6 balls to bring up his ton. Played for himself and never looked capable of hitting the fence late. Hard to blame a century maker though......
