My main gripe is if Inverarity watched any of the England- India series he would know two spinners is a must.

If we are relying on reverse swing to win us the series we are in big trouble, remembering it was only Jimmy Anderson who got reverse going and he is most likely the best reverse swing bowler in the world.

Also the Aussies have openly admitted they haven't mastered the art of reverse.

Either the selection is aimed for a draw or their not fussed about this series and want a side that is balanced with the Ashes in mind

So for years McGarth, Dizzy and Lee couldnt get the job done in India yet they now think that Pattinson, Siddle and Starc can? India will probably play 3 or even 4 spinners!

Get on India what ever they are paying is overs!

People forget that India had Tendulkar, Dravid and Laxman in that period.
The current Indian batting lineup is full of pea hearted marshmallows

True but their current batting lineup is about equal to our current bowling lineup, where as the McGrath Warne Lee trio were special and no doubt better than India's batting line up ever where except India

The fact Lee was part of the 3, might explain why Australia couldn't get the job done. The other 2 did their part.

What about Kasperwitz or however you spell it, he always got a run over there. Pretty impressive stats for dizzy and McGrath there I wouldn't of thought that.
