For mine, Warne is out and out the best cricketer ive seen. Not just his ability to take wickets and what he could do with the ball in hand, it was his mind games that i loved watching. REB- you mentioned Cullinan and Atherton, watching both McGrath and Warne at Athers and Warne to Cullinan was cricket at its brilliant best in terms of mental torture of an opposition player!.
Best batsman for mine would be Lara, closely followed by Tendulkar and Hayden. That test at adelaide where he scored 200 was the innings of a champion. Sachin is all class with bat in hand and Haydos (with Langer at the other end) formed arguably Australias best ever opening partnership.
Best Keeper is Gilchrist- revolutionist! That ashes innings of 2006/07 is my all time favourite! The moment the poms were broken!
