I like this part:

The Redbacks have already decided to cut base contracts to a minimim introducing an incentive based regime.
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

Well done SACA, you continue to amaze me with your sublime stupidity, both on and off the field.

A reported $200k for a useless hack who chucks the ball ... That'll get the Redbacks off the bottom.

Even better, reward one of the few players in the team worth his salt by sacking him as captain.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Disgraceful SACA, a friggin yarpie who is the biggest chucker in world cricket. He should have been thrown out years ago.
I regularly attend shield matches but I wont be going again as long as he is captain.

Great recruiting coup by South Australia
To get a player of this ability is a step in the right direction

I can just see next season
When he plays poorly, a brigade of critics will surface and post
When he performs , the same critics will be missing in action
You know the usual

SA is getting the services of an International cricketer

We are getting a very good player, not a player who struggles to make another Domestic State team

Hasn't played a test for 2 years and had a ripping 5 test match career. Says heaps about him that he couldnt get a game in a side that has produced the worst spinners in world cricket over the last 10 years, guys like Adams and Boje were preferred over him. I wont support him no matter what, bigger chucker than Murali, hope he is a flop

Can the bloke bowl? ... Well sort of, if chucking counts. Can he get a game on his bowling alone ... nope.

Can the bloke bat? ... well, can get runs every now and again but don't rely on him. Can he get a game on his batting alone ... nope.

Can the bloke field ... next question.

He's 29 and has played 5 tests, 69 ODIs and 67 first glass matches ...

Averages 34 with the bat and 32 with the ball in first class matches.

Has been officially reported twice for an illegal action in tests. On official testing of his action, all deliveries were deemed illegal as being over the 15 degree extension (a rule brought in by a piss weak ICC to allow Murali to continue playing), with his doosra found to be a whopping 26.7 degrees.

Why are we flying this average cricketer who's washed up at 29 half way around the world to lead our Shield side?

Faarked if I know ...

Sorry just reckon its the wrong direction. Would of much preffered Steve Smith. In Smith you have a young cricketer who is busting his gut to get back in the Aussie team, in Botha you have an old guy past his peak who wont be pushing to play for his country.
Did hear we were chasing Smith, Khawaja and Hughes, would be nice if we could grab one of them

Where is this alledged ability? International cricketer?

I'll give you one thing ... he certainly doesn't struggle to make another Domestic State team, because no-one else even had the stupid thought to recruit him. Does not being good enough to make any team for your country count as all?

Does not being able to comply with the simple rule of not extending your arm 15 degrees when you bowl count?

Waugh, Waugh, Waugh, what is he is good for?
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

One of the few positives this year was Klingers performances, leadership and captaincy, so the SACA decide to get rid of him!

FFS how about concentrating on our weaknesses?

Cullen Bailey to be the Highest paid net bowler in the country then......

Nope, believe he wasn't offered a contract along with Crossthwaite, OB and Theo.
Might be a couple others aswell and one might be a surprise

He could get a game for the Redbacks on his batting alone.

Who is the surprise?

Great move IMO. Quality cricketer, quality captain. Will benefit us greatly in all forms.
