Exactly if Ponting was ditched because he won't be there for the next WC than what the hell is Brett Lee still doing in the team?

Surely he's not going to still be around or at least ODI standard come 2015?

Yep said the same thing a few days ago. The next WC must be our main goal, got 3 years to get some experience into some kids, would love to see Coulter-Nile or McDermott go to the Windies.
Lee is a list clogger IMO

Lee is a list clogger IMO


At 35, Lee is still as fast, if not faster than any other Aussie quick. He's always liable to get an early breakthrough through sheer pace. For me, he's a must-have in the squad.

Great to see Lyon and Christian in both squads, but what on earth does Callum Ferguson have to do at ODD level to make the squad?

Is currently injured (minor calf) but will be playing for the Dolphins in the South African T20 comp this month

West Indies have picked uncapped batsman Johnson Charles and recalled fast bowler Tino Best to the squad for the first three ODIs against Australia in St Vincent in March. The 13-man squad does not include fast bowler Ravi Rampaul, who is ill, and batsmen Lendl Simmons and Adrian Barath, who have finger injuries.
