Jessie Ryder was 48* off 27 balls....he then faced 15 balls for 4 runs.

He had the highest score in the match 52 off 42 balls, but effectively was the reason the Kiwis lost a match the South Africans had no right to win

Is Amla the best "allround" batsman in the game, seems to be able to adapt to all forms and be successful.

It was the biggest choke i have witnessed for a long time. They were miles in front with plenty of wickets left but Ryder was too worried about his 50 when he should have just kept going the way he was. The kiwis top order is good in this format of the game but from 6 down they struggle a fair bit with the bat.

Has the ICC changed the T20 international rules - always thought the maximum number of T20 internationals per home summer was 2 per country and 3 in total.

Struggling at the moment but still reckon they would be more than competitve against Aus/SL/IN

imho SAF best ODI side in the World by some distance.

-Amla
-De Villiers
-Kallis
-Duminy
-Steyn
-Morkel
-Philander

OK, so because the opponent WAS Zimbabwe, it was OK to go over the top?

NZ have always been average, are currently average and will always be average.

From the Ronchi thread:

whufc wrote:NZ beat SAF in the first of the T20!

Love the bias on here, when we lose its because we play like Zimbabwe, nothing to do with the oppositon yet when we win its because we are consistent and not that the opponents played like Zimbabwe.

NZ in the limited forms of cricket ARE quality and would push any side in the world at current!

Agreeing with WHUFC.
If NZ keep what they've got, and the improvement for new players follows, there's a near world beating side forming.
