Wish Darren Berry wouldnt come out before the start of the game and state the the Bulls are lucky to be on top of the table.Just concentrate on your own team, when he got the job and said what his plans are going to be,everything sounded fine but as usual our shield form is deplorable.Really think Cullen Bailey has had enough games but just doesnt seem to be good enough for shield cricket.Honestly dont mind playing younger players and give them a few chances as hopefully in the future they will succeed.Just need decent backup for George,Putland and Christian.

No spinners. Cant win matches at Adelaide Oval with a decent one!
We have 2 Below Average ones.
Anyone got any stats for how our spinners have gone this year in SS cricket??

Bailey 3 for 399
Lyon 2 for 151
Obrien 0 for 173

Total 5 for 723

When I started a Dan Christian thread last year, no-one rated me doing it.

Aside from the early hundred, and the last match here, look at his slew of starts that he could not convert.

When I copped a PM after the original post, I was warned that I would cop flak over that call... You were right...

And I achieved what I wanted... ;)

What I wanted was to cause a reaction (which essentially Booney makes you correct) that would garner support for Dan, that has been sadly lacking on this site.

You would assume with a rookie opener (Thornton) at one end, Harris would have produced something responsible. A first over duck not amongst it.
At 1/0 certain requirements are also expected from your number three, and kingpin batsman. A couple of boundaries and OUT are also not amongst them.

Don't want to be too negative, but we'll see how this pans out.

The Redbacks need Shaun Tait back. I would use him purely to knock over the tail. This seems to be the problem at the moment with the oppositions tail scoring more runs than the Redbacks top order. Bowl Tait purely to the last 4 batsmen who should carp themselves facing Tait and get out cheaply.

I hope Botha can bat at 6
