Rain

I think we are a decent chance to win the series. South Africa have a history of failing on the big stage, we beat them there a couple of years ago and we have played a test in the last 6 months.

My pick for most Aussies runs is Clarke and South Africa Runs Amla.

Never been a huge fan of Clarke, but since he has taken over the captaincy has really stood up and done surprisingly better than i thought. Reckon him or Hussey for leading runs, and leading wicket taker for us could be anyone really.... depends if Johnson turns up or not...

I don't think they've played a test for at least 6 months, could be a contributing factor, a bit of fatique might slow them down.

I dont mind batting first. I reckon the pitch will play tricks for an hour or so and then should be good for batting. Hopefully the openers can see off the first hour at least

I snapped up the $1.85 for SA highest opening partnership 1st innings, think its going to be a tough hour of play.

Would love to see Hughesy and Watto tee off.
Will be difficult for the first hour but we cant let Steyn and Morkel dominate us early

Hughes does not look confident when the ball nips back in...but in fairness some have been jaffas.
