Flower and Khan were massive disappointments. Higgs was a total flop, and Elliott was terrible in Shield cricket.

Media Park wrote:Where did Adcock come from?

Elliot wasn't bad in the one dayers, never really cracked it at Shield level for us, after dominating for VIC.

Flower like Elliot was awesome in his day, but didn't do the job when he came to us.

Not a bad idea on recruiting, they just didn't produce the goods.

Picking up Ludeman was silly. And as much as I rate him, Aaron O'Brien seemed an illogical pick up, even though he's had a few solid efforts.

Come again??

Flower hands were in terrible condition and Fleming became injury prone even before he came to S.A,whoever was in charge of recruiting didnt do any homework.Even though we gave Rod Marsh a heap of crap he did recruit Dan Christian.Really dont mind recruiting younger players from interstate even if they dont workout, prefer SA to go down this track than getting players that only have a couple of years left like Ben Edmonson last year.

A first ball globe today, how many is that for the early part of the year?
In our brittle side, the keeper needs to be able to bat a little bit, if nothing more than holding up an end...
This guy is rubbish... Hope he proves me wrong.

He played for the comets in the first season and then nsw. Even Represented Australia a. Then moved to the redbacks. Just checked his stats. Last game for the redbacks was in the ing cup where he made a second ball duck.

Amazing statement really, whilst I haven't seen a lot of first class stuff, Ludeman's keeping has been fine. We always knew the batting question was a problem when "my man - choco" retired. The thing I find funny is that this is a bag the interstaters thread and who do u suggest we replace Luders with another b....dy Victorian (or ACT person to be specific). Just happened to be at Bull Park at couple of weeks ago to see an excellent game of cricket, highlighted to me by two outstanding displays of wicketkeeping on an pitch that at times had some indifferent bounce, 600 runs in two days, no byes, no missed chances, 1 outstanding stumping. And guess what, 1 of them was a SA person who at the moment just happens to be making a few runs at the top and has been training with the Redbacks all season. Go figure.
Love Bulls.
