Media Park wrote:Watson (vc)- best player in the side
Hughes- hit and miss, but the best option
Ponting- one of his last series, unless he has a tendulkar-like re-birth
Clarke (c)- can play
M.Hussey- tripe
Khawaja- young talent, needs a go
Haddin- solid
Johnson- hit and miss
Harris- gun when fit
Copeland- we'll see
Lyon-we'll see

funnily enough, I like it... :D

Watson (vc)- Can't convert and still too much of an LB candidate **agree, but still a gun for our side. Get past the 50's and he'll be apples
Hughes- **** technique a walking wicket **Shit technique, but very hungry for runs!
Ponting- Will rack em up now he's not skipper
Clarke (c)- Will rack em up now he's skipper
M.Hussey- Needs to make more starts
Khawaja- Bat him between the old farts, up one ahead of Hussey **agreed
Haddin- Piss him off and bring in Paine **AGREED!
Johnson- Not a test bowler **Except when he feels like it
Harris- A Lemon **A lemon scented soft tissue
Copeland- Will go well **Hopefully
Lyon-Wrong spinner number 57 **Runs Per Over: 5+

We'll do well to hold our number five ranking. We reek. **I've got the nose pegs ready. Our big hope is that Lanka only have about 4 decent players themselves.

Longer than the Redbacks' tail. But not as long as the list of team names Shaun Tait will have played for by the end of 2013.

Herath to Watson, OUT, and he strikes first ball! Or does he? Yes, he does. This ball is six overs old, and turns a mile when tossed up by Herath

Hughes out for 12

Australia 2/36

9.4
Lakmal to Hughes, OUT, What a pitch! What a beauty this Test could be. Takes off, explodes, from short of a length. It's close to off, and Hughes is committed to playing at it. The extra bounce means he has to fend at it, and it takes the shoulder of the bat before lobbing to slip. He didn't even run his fingers across this one
