But he can fly around the world 12 months of the year training ( if he does ), playing ( when he can ) and throwing down 24 balls a day, in two spells, of course. ;)

This guy is a legend. Here he is playing International Cricket when quite clearly he should be on a Disability Pension.

Playing in a team full of ring-ins from around the world is not International cricket.

So he signs on for Zimbabwe. He will not have an equal there.

He will, no doubt, get a gig in the English T20. Maybe one or two national players at best in any game (opposition and teammate).

The IPL, a few good players in each team, and some 18 year old skinny Indian pricks...

Stuff the sook.
So many cricketers would give their right aggot to get the opportunities he has had, and he couldn't give a toss, he's perfectly happy to swan around the world, if he strings together three or four games in a row, the pricks that signed him will be ecstatic.

I can't wait... You watch... Big Bash rolls around, and he'll be "resting." You heard it here first...

1:30 today, Tait will be available for a press conference at the Adelaide Oval indoor centre. Perhaps someone from here can come on down and ask him about his commitment and desire and the impact his body has had on his cricket?

Befor eor after I ask him some questions? :D

I'd face up to Brett Lee and Dale Steyn, but not Tait. You could ask Lee and Steyn to put it on a nice length outside off stump and they would be able to oblige accordingly.

I'd like to hear the answer to that question to be honest. It's just hard for ferrets like myself to comprehend. I've seen a grey haired old dude play for four hours with a rooted back just for the love of the game and his cricket club. Despite the vast difference in ability and the level played, I know who I respect more.

62-year old in Pt Lincoln, stands behind the stumps for fifty overs, and often bats (opening) for thirty or forty more...

Not to mention you pay $10 ball money for the privilege of playing at all...

I think the guy is a screaming tosspot of a bloke, but can't help but respect what he does...

After signing Shaun Tait in August, Dolphins have acquired the services of Chris Gayle for next year's Pro20 series in South Africa.
