Perhaps Hobart will have to wait a little longer for their first D/N International ;)

If Marsh and White can bat for 20 overs, AUS should at least post a competitive total, i would think 180-200.

Dont underestimate the two at the crease at the moment, we've all seen what White can do when he explodes, and Marsh should be opening the batting in the test side IMO.

IMO it will also depend on which LEE and TAIT rock up as when them 2 are on they'll defend 180 with ease.

We got that Lee allrounder coming in at 8, imagine if he got a boundary, he was doing a Carlos last week when he took a regulation catch.

Good partnership here. Still got to be aiming for over 200. Keep rotating strike, put away the odd loose ball and then hopefully have enough wickets in hand to have a reasonable hit towards the end.

Lee and Tait will need to be at their best. Still not done and dusted if they bowl well, but if they bowl badly it soon will be without some serious hitting near the end of our innings.

With Ponting, Paine, Hastings and Mitch being the 4 on the sidelines they really seem short of alternatives if we have a few struggling for form.

Out of the 15 in the squad on the sub-continent this is how I'd line them up.

Watto
Paine
Ponting
Clarke
White
M.Hussey
Haddin
D.Hussey
Hauritz
Mitch
Tait

Clarke will have to be the 6th bowler.
If M.Hussey isn't going, Marsh in to open and drop Painey down.
I think they didn't need all 5 quicks, should've gone the extra batsman or recognised all-rounder, sorry, I'm still spewing.
