Come on Redbacks. Not a fan of the new format but it would still be nice to see SA get home.

Enjoyable day.

Good crowd, new stand starting to take shape, looks superb in the bit they've almost completed, and will be amazing when it's completed.

Putland bowled beautifully, as did Edmondson and Duval.

Well done redbacks. New format is an absolute joke, hope it gets thrown out at end of year.

How can the bowlers have so many overs in a 45 over comp? Have those rules changed?

45 overs per team split into two innings. 20 overs followed by 25 overs. Lead at the 1st break you get 1 point. Win the game you get 4. (Max 5 points available).
No powerplays.
Any one bowler can bowl a maximum of 12 overs.
12 players can be used. 11 to bat and 11 can bowl.
2 bouncers allowed per over
Fielding restrictions of : 2 men outside the circle in overs 1-5 and 21-25. 4 men allowed out at any other time
