I don't know if this is a replay that I am watching, but it is WA v VIC in a one dayer, and they need to turn the stump mic down.

Have had Harwood drop the F Bomb after bowling a wide, and someone (sounded like in commentary box) saying "he f***ing smacked that" after a dismissal.

2-23 WA (Both openers gone) if it is live...

4-286 near the end of VIC's 45 overs, Hodgey on 110 ish, and Ronnie having a late dip.

WA made 4-88 off their first stage, so they need a miracle.

So there's five overs less, and the bowlers can bowl more???

Does someone (I'm looking at Brod here) have a link to the rules???

FWIW, First game for new state, and Cossi looks a shoe in for MOTM

Law 12.8 Number of Overs per Bowler
No bowler shall bowl more than 12 overs in an innings.
In a delayed or interrupted match where the overs are
reduced for both teams or for the team bowling second,
no bowler may bowl more than one-quarter of the total
overs allowed.
Where the total number of overs is not divisible by 4, one
additional over shall be allowed to the maximum number per
bowler necessary to make up the balance.
In the event of a bowler breaking down and being unable
to complete an over, the remaining balls will be bowled by
another bowler. Such part of an over will count as a full over
only in so far as each bowler’s limit is concerned.
The scoreboard shall show the total number of overs bowled
and the number of overs bowled by each bowler.

Not sure about this..the rules relating to number of overs bowlers can bowl.

Let me get this straight...

Less overs in the innings, but bowlers can bowl MORE

The SA v NSW game 3 bowlers (Putland, Edmonson, Duval) bowled 33/45 overs  , it worked well for SA as Christian was going for close to 10 an over, but it seems bloody stupid to me. How are allrounders/spin bowlers to be developed in the List A (50/45 over) game, when the opening two bowlers can bowl more than half of the overs?

The spin-bowling allrounder Steve O'Keefe will captain New South Wales for the first time after being named to stand in for Stuart Clark against Sri Lanka this Sunday. The Blues have looked to the future by appointing O'Keefe, 25, who will guide a side including the veteran fast man Brett Lee

No surprise to see another ex-Redback dominate for his new state. Good luck to him as well, the guy is extremely talented and deserves to play with decent team mates instead of the hacks in the current SACA squad.

Well done to Cossie. He seems to go alright against the Vics.

Simon Katich has added to Australia's injury concerns ahead of the Ashes as he battles to recover from a broken thumb. Katich suffered the fracture in India at the start of the month, but did not realise how bad it was until after he returned home to Sydney.

The problem is hampering the preparation of Katich, 35, although he hopes to be available for New South Wales' Sheffield Shield game against Victoria from November 10. The opening Test of the Ashes series begins in Brisbane on November 25.
