He came back on after the ball was bowled and I've always been under the impression that if you leave the field during an over, you have to wait until the end of the over to come back onto the field. A free hit must have different rules regarding it.


There is no rule..the two captains came to a "captains agreement" for the situation

Ah, I wonder if the ICC look at that as an example and then make a rule?
