Eng ALL OUT 354

Huge collapse today, Lost 6/29 and NOT surpringly their were NO catches taken.
4 LBWs
1 Bowled
1 Run Out

Now, just take out that 200+ 5th partnership and Eng would've made F.All.

I read certain things in stats...

17 years, and 81 tests...

The fact that Bari had the most dismissals doesn't impress me that much (Look who's second!!!), But so many Tests over such a long period, with the way that country operates is unbelievable.

I'll back you on that... Bari #1

Imitaz Ahmed is the only other Pakistani to have more than 25 dismissals as a wicketkeeper
90 dismissals during the 1950s and early 1960s

There is not much to choose from in their history

There were at least 2 LBW decisions that were out in that partnership according to HAWKEYE

51 overs 16 maidens 118 runs 8 wickets
The 2 Spinners (Kaneria and Malik)
32 overs 2 maidens 139 runs 0 wickets

Salman butt may be right..these two could be the best opening pair in test cricket

Pakistan 5/45

Azhar Ali given out caught behind by Prior off Anderson 14.
Ali has a midpitch discussion with partner Umar Akmal as to wether to refer it. In the end he doesn't and walks off.
All the replays, Hot Spot & Snicko suggest that he didn't hit it and the ball DEFINITELY flicked his trouser pocket, so why the hell didn't he refer it ??????????

more match fixing ???? Doubt it very much but quite unbelievable.

Now 6/47.

Kamran Akmal continues with his miserable test, gone for a duck.

That makes it a total of 12 wickets for 76 runs today, compare that to the India v Sri Lanka Test where there was only 17 wickets for the entire test, i know what i'd rather watch.

Pakistan Easily avoid the follow-on.
Pak All Out 182.
No. 9 Umar Gul remained 65* n.o. off only 46 balls  with 8 Fours and 4 Sixes.
Had a 35 run 10th wicket partnership with Mohammad Asif who didn't score a run b4 being run out for 0.

England are struggling in their 2nd innings, being 2/28 off 13 overs for an overall lead of 200.
Surprisingly, Keeper Kamran Akmal has taken both catches.

Akmal may be saving his career, just takes a spectacular diving left handed catch off an inside edge from Pieterson to get rid of him for 22.
Eng 3/65

UN - B - Liev - able

Akram DROPS Collingwood 1st ball  . Pretty straight forward catch and puts it down.

FC record
84 matches
354 wickets
24.14 ave
3.23 econ
44.8 srate

Tea Day 3
Eng 6/119 Lead by 291.

Remarkable comeback by Pakistan considering they were 6/47 and all the comentators were talking about it was just a matter of Eng enforcing the follow on and quickly wrapping it up on Day 3. As it is, Eng still should win pretty easily bcos the pitch is becoming inconsistent with bounce. Trott got bowled by a very low ball.

How about the dismissel of Strauss, snicks to 2nd slip where Umar Akmal juggles it twice b4 knocking it back over his head to the keeper Kamran Akmal dive full length to take the rebound. Only Pakistan can make a straight forward catch one of the most amazing one's of the year. :?
