Not bad a side with the inclusion of two Sandgropers and a Victorian....

Can't believe Rick Darling didn't get a gig...

C'mon we all know that if KG was picking a side he would find a spot for Macca, Warnie and Lleyton - his love children!

24 mate, I have seen snippets of Lance Cairns and his famous 1 handed 6's. Chris Cairns was a very good allrounder, not many all rounders bat 4th/5th and opened the bowling aswell. Not to mention he was pretty sharp aswell.

I'm not knocking you mate, his old man was a freak, probably not the best record, it was a bit tougher back then though. I've seen Chris dominate aswell over the years. This is all opinion based and people see things different to others, I could've changed my team twenty times since I've been over it.

Warne and Akram could bat so it isn't as bad as NZ's tail currently

Test side -
Slater (my favourite batsman of all time)
Sehwag (not far behind him)
Ponting
Tendulkar
Lara
S.Waugh
Gilchrist
Flintoff
Warne
Walsh
McGrath
12th man - Graeme Smith (always loved his batting, and even more so after SCG efforts)

ODI side -

Gilchrist
Sehwag
Ponting
Tendulkar
Lara
Symonds
Hussey
Flintoff
Warne
Wasim Akram
Mcgrath

12th man - kallis, only because flintoff is more entertaining!

Long batting i know for the ODI side, with only 4 main bowlers, but there quality i think 40 overs, plus the last 10 from tendulkar symonds and sehwag (who is very underrated IMO as a bowler)

CK I overcame that with my side, I thought about it and decided to go with 5 very good bowlers in Donald, Lee, Akram, C.Cairns and Warne with 3 very handy part timers in Richards,Rhodes and Jayasaria. Also a pretty handy batting line up down to 10.

Team of who i would want to watch

Sanath Jayasuriya
Virender Sehwag
Sachin Tendulkar
Brian Lara
Jonty Rhodes
Darren Lehmann
Adam Gilchrist
Chris Cairns
Wasim Akram
Shane Warne
Darren Gough

Best team that i have seen
Graeme Smith
Justin Langer
Steven Fleming(C)
Brian Lara
Jacques Kallis
Shiv Chanderpaul
Mark Boucher
Shane Warne
Wasim Akram
Jason Gillespie
Glenn Mcgrath
Ricky Ponting (12th man)
Steven Fleming is only in the side for his captaincy, a guy that can score 7000+ runs and get a team to perform above its weight like he did is pretty good.

My favourite ODI team to watch would be

1. Chris GAYLE
2. Adam GILCHRIST
3. Saneth JAYASURIYA
4. Brian LARA
5. Sachin TENDULKAR
6. Ricky PONTING
7. Chris CAIRNS
8. Lance KLUSNER
9. Shane WARNE
10 Wasim AKRAM
11 Curtly AMBROSE

Imagine how many runs that side could hit in 50 overs if they got going yet they could still bowl teams out for under 150. I would travel anywhere in the world to watch that team play.
