Well personally I've never really considered Watson a Test player. I've loved what Clark has been doing for us over the last few years but whether it's form or a niggle he's dropped off a fair bit so could accept Watson coming in at the expense of him not that I think that will be needed anyway.

Oram's an excellent player when fit. I've seen past series where he has dominated with both bat and ball but is a better batsman.

Oram's bowling is pretty weak, like 125k's and nothing to harm most batsmen.

These days sure but a few years ago he was pretty similar to a Stuart Clark. He was a fair bit quicker than what he is now and good line and length. He's had a lot on back problems I think over the last few years.

Probably i was a bit harsh. He has had some injury problems but his height and bounce made him a difficult prospect. I still think he was nothing special but he was handy enough. Would never have made an Australian side though.

Watto's a better batsman than Haddin. He's a better batsman than he is a bowler by a long way and if he is ever to make it at Test level it will be the bat that makes him.

Glenn Mcgrath has tipped a 3 nil white wash, still getting under the skin off opponents in retirement

Watson cant bat though...he is the most overrated player in the world!! haddin is by far a better batter, and for the record im not one of those players that overrate watson ;)

Youre saying this at the same point in time that WATSON is being considered as an allrounder for the Australian TEST side...again

The media couldn't help itself last week when it brought up the quote "Ntini - who was subjected to racial slurs the last time he appeared in a test at the WACA - was asked whether he thought it might happen again"

There's a two part answer to that:

a) it depends if expat South Africans attend the match
b) whether or not those expat South Africans behave themselves.

Just the one forced change for South Africa. Prince is injured and Duminy replaces him.

South Africa: 1 Graeme Smith (capt), 2 Neil McKenzie, 3 Hashim Amla, 4 Jacques Kallis, 5 AB de Villiers, 6 JP Duminy, 7 Mark Boucher (wk), 8 Morne Morkel, 9 Paul Harris, 10 Dale Steyn, 11 Makhaya Ntini.

No surprises in the Australian line-up.

Australia: 1 Matthew Hayden, 2 Simon Katich, 3 Ricky Ponting (capt), 4 Michael Hussey, 5 Michael Clarke, 6 Andrew Symonds, 7 Brad Haddin (wk), 8 Brett Lee, 9 Jason Krejza, 10 Mitchell Johnson, 11 Peter Siddle.
