Its a joke. Adcock may have not been performing with the bat, but he was the Redbacks best spinner last season. They should have played him as a specilaist spinner, who can bat.

The funny thing.. is when an older bloke lets go of the captaining because of form and pressure problems they are relinquished in the squad yet Addzy doesnt.. How does that promote a professional sporting organisation. How will this encourage a young up and comer aspire to captain SA.

has been a fringe 1st class player near on 10 years has one break out season and they give him the skippers job Typical of the SACA to reward mediocrity, they are a joke of an organisation and would struggle to to take a sh*t in a Sh*thouse.

Nathan should be thankful they gave him the benefit of the doubt and persist with him for so long when it showed very early on that he is not up to the standard of regular 1st Class cricket. sadly the SACA were backed into a corner and had no option but to give him a go. Cam Borgas was my pick at the beginning of the season but he let me down big time and has some work to do.

I dont doubt they put alot of effort into him.. Im not disputing that. What confuses me is they stick with him for so long, give him the big gig then get rid of him cos he failed. Why not relinquish him of that duty thus for taking the pressure off him for a season then decide. Why would you give the captaincy to someone then not resign them cos they failed in that role. I dunno, just seems a bit over the top to me. But in saying that it will be good to see the roster turned over and see them try something new.
