Didn't touch it enough SAS, 3/66, Delmont gone.

Fergs scoring quite freely, need Christian or Deitz to get set with him or this one is as good as gone at lunch on day one....

In other state matches going on.

Tasmania are batting first against NSW and it looks like Michael Di Venuto is planning on going on with a bang. They are currently 0/113 Di Venuto 70*, Anderson 28*

Victoria have won the toss and elected to bowl against WA, They are currently 1/34. Rogers 19*

Tassie 1/151 with Di Venuto on 96 not out. Thornley got Anderson. It's going to be a long day at the office for the Bluebaggers without Dougie Bollinger. WA are now 1/74 with that boring bastard Rogers on 45 not out with a strike rate of 75. Hurry up son.

I have heard a whisper that a recent Test player for another nation is desperate to move to Australia and play 1st class cricket. He has played county cricket with one of our current players and said he is willing to do what it takes to get a game here similar to Nathan Hauritz just packed up and left Qld to move to Sydney and play grade cricket in the hope of performances getting him selected.

This particular player has played 25+ tests for his nation...........

back to the match SA 4/69  Ferg not out 25........ and Deitz need a big score from both

yeah it is. any player with Test experience would have to be a better option than majority of the current pretenders we have now.

The ECB was the people who tried to get him over there in the first place and with all the troubles with South African cricket he would have been stupid not to go. Now he would be a great pick up for any australian sides especially SA. and By the way SA now in big strife and could still finish bottom in the pura cup. they are 5/87 fergy out
