Tait isn't even bloody fit for a start. And if Hoggy can't get you wickets how in the hell are Pup and Roy going to do it? What does Tait offer that Brett Lee doesn't? :?

Come on spiderpig...you know it makes sense.

Hands off Douggie!! Seriously, I can't see them picking Bollinger. But if he can take another Dozen against the Buttrangers he might be in with a silly chance.

Hilfenhaus, Tait, Noffke are the next 3 in line i'd reckon then maybe Douggie. He keeps putting his hand up though. You never know.

That's a very good question. Can't think of one.

Carl Rackermann is the closest i can come up with but he wasn't completely bald.

Noffke's not fit either rodney. If they do go quick it would have to be Hughefnerhaus.

Just noticed Noffke's selection for the Bulls. Deserves a shot but it screams draw to me. I might be in the minority here! *goes into siege mode*

I understand your point that the attack needs variety but i reckon where the wicket suits then 4 quicks could be the way to go. Have to remember that Lee, Johnson and Tait are all super quick and Tait and Johnson in particular can be quite unpredictable. It wouldn't be the same as playing 4 military medium English bowlers.

Military medium pace?
S Clark isn't exactly Jeff Thomson reborn, and he's got the best strike rate out of the lot!

It doesn't have to be Tait at all, I'd be going for someone like Hilfenhaus, Bracken or even Noffke - they can actually swing the ball, which is what is needed I think.

Thinking about it though, I'd be happy whoever gets the spot - as long as it isn't MacGill!

Have to go with Hogg at the minute, is bowling well and is more than a capable batsman and fielder, big plus is that he has been part of this group. Bit worried though have just heard that evidently Watson has been learning the leg spin trade

Well the 4 quicks idea is gathering momentum with the press and the selectors it seems.

Did someone say Bracken could swing the ball? We are talking test cricket here are we not? They use a RED ball in 5 dayers....
In fact BLINK,I'd say that Tait actually swings a red ball more consistently than Bracken.
Outties with the new aggot and reverse with the old.....gotta be happy with that at 150 clicks..

Fair call - but will the selectors choose an 80% fit Tait over a 100% fit Hilfenhaus?

in the last ford ranger and pura cup game dan cullen played better than hogg

DC could bowl him self into the boxing day test in the next week but i think they will play 4 quicks with Tait and Lee opening the bowling
