The bowling ave of Steyn (9.20) is the best by any player since 1970 in a series that they have taken 20 wickets or more, and his strick rate (16.8) is the second best all time for a series (20 wicket min).

Of the twenty wickets seven though were a combination of Gillepsie (test ave 0.00) O'Brien (test ave 4.00) and Martin (test ave 2.00)

So an even higher percentage of wickets were BUNNIES

Crikey!!

After 18 months on this site I thought the rest of you blokes would have cotton'd onto to MAL's MO, outlandish predictions backed up by dodgy stats

Steyn has rocketed up the ICC rankings after getting some Kiwis out, and is now apparently the third best test bowler, up from 28th before the series
