Rofe really not helping his chance for a call up with 12 overs 0/72 as Sri Lanka have a good chance to bat themselves into form, now 1/231 of 51 overs

FWIW I'm not a fan of Roebucks opinions and writings (too much of a whinging POM and like Rucci with the Crows likes to take an anti-Australian) but it is certainly eye-opening with respect to Murali's abilities:

MAybe just maybe we could all be wrong.....

IMO he has been through enough tests and passed all of them lets just get on with life

The chucking rules were designed to stop the Charlie Griffiths (fast bowlers) of this world kill someone by using baseball style pitches instead of bowling.

I am not convinced he throws it and even if there was a straightening of his arm I am not convinced what benefit he would get from it.

Try bowling an off-spinner tomorrow in your back yard and pay close attention to your bowling arm ....

He must bowl within the rules. He has gone through enough tests and passed them all. My biggest gripe is they changed the rules to suit him! I think he probably chucks, but will still stand and applaud if he passes Warnies record in Adelaide. I don't have anything against Murali, just the governing body who never got the problem sorted out in the first place. He has been brilliant for Sri Lankan cricket.

I enjoy watching Maruli bowl TBH

Its a batsman's game so its great to see a real battle between bat & ball

Very few batsmen can pick him (Lehmann one exception)

Maybe he meant he will stand and applaud in Adelaide if Murali passes Warnie on TV.
