Yeah but the players are their to entertain us, not to whinge about who they are playing or who the crowd barracks for. They are professional sportsmen.

I agree with the entertainment part but the PRIMARY reason these blokes are out there is to represent their, that is our, country. Those guys are out there batting and bowling for Australia because you and I are not good enough to do so. These blokes get paid well of course but the life of a top sportsmen is a short one indeed. During that time as a top earner you are making significant sacrifices to play the game for our country and any top player will tell you it is tough on the road. What would be even tougher? I'd say playing against second graders at home and having those that you represent barracking against you on your home decks. Australia A vs Australia is a joke that wasn't funny the first time around. If you don't listen to the players' concerns then all of a sudden they aren't out there to entertain you in the first place.

Those Australia A games weren't even given ODI status, despite the truth that they were the two best sides in that tournament.
