Yep. The other one was a fairly handy footballer with Sturt to boot.

I think our coaching staff must ultimately take some responsibility with Warner. If he is not being told that poking and prodding against Broad is not an option then they should be.

If the selectors don't act now on Warners career they simply have ZERO credibility. Would be just madness if they continued with him but it has been for the last few years as well so i guess they think whats the harm to let him go out on his own terms especially if Australia wrap the Ashes up this Test?

I could live with him surviving if this happens.

Disappointed how that innings finished up, we had them and should of had a lead of 80 - 90 runs. But I also wonder if fhe pitch is getting better to bad on.

Also we got send in on a rager, and ended up in front just. Probably not a bad result which ever way you look at it.

Just need to weather this high octane storm from Wood. Woaks and Broad are going to need to do the work horse roles here, as Stokes and Robinson won't bowl.

There was an interesting article in the womans day or womens weekly recently about Cummins and Warner not getting on and Warner has lost the passion etc. Was a pretty horrid article to be honest, written by a woman who knows nothing about cricket but where theres smoke theres fire

Haha indeed you are.

Anyway, not sure what the article would have been like in one of those maps, I mean in fairness the Advertister is only really a small step up from them and well that's tripe. So who really knows, he's out of form, feet aren't moving so it's clear tnst he's probably done.

Bairstow drops Marnus.

Very poor shot.

Not content with a life he hits one 2 balls later to Brook (have to say I don't think Brook was in control of his body....). Just hearing he has played the slog sweep only 6 times in his test career but has been out on 3 of them. Warner not on his own it seems.

He batted very poorly. Very.

Thats one fifty in 17 innings. Completely out of form.

I'd like to see these two not engage verbally with the poms but let the wielding of the willow do it all
