Would be refreshing to see Pakistan get a win here. Played brilliant in patches this tour, would be good for the series and for their boys to pick up a much needed W

Thats what happens when you go into a game with only 4 batsmen (Warner, Khawaja, Smith, Head) and then fill the side with bit batters.

Sounds a bit like what we're going to do in India. With even worse results.

Pakistan plodding along quite easily at 1/86. 135 from 172 needed, Pakistan should win this. It's still a long way to go according to Bill Lawry though.

how has there only been 1 over of spin from the aussies so far?

Plenty of justification coming from the commentators for a very lacklustre aussie performance

Shocking Captaincy from Smith.
Where is the change of pace?
Head and Maxwell should be bowling 10 between them as a bare minimum

Yes it's unusual considering Pakistan bowled 24 overs of spin in Australia's innings out of the 48. 3/98 in those 24 overs, the spinners did a very good job restricting Australia.

according to mark waugh they now see him as a bowling allrounder that could even open the bowling if required

so why the hell did they bat him at number 4 in the one day side?

the mixed messages are astounding regarding the marshes
