Our problem 20-25 years ago was chasing small totals for victory in our 2nd innings; these days its collapsing after a great start.

I'm sure there was a time when the third umpire couldn't refer to Hawkeye for LBW decisions was there not?

The 3rd ump. should be able to have a front and side view and make a judgment based on experience. They shouldn't be putting blind faith in a computer model's prediction of ball trajectory.

Hawkeye is OK for TV viewers and the commentators but that's where it should end.

Aust will be chasing over 500 in the last innings here, SAFRICANS showing what can be achieved with disciplined batting

If it keeps going this way, third test in a row at Perth we have been in dominant positions against South Africa early only to end up losing the match.
Plus the test before that they batted all day last day to save it.

Australian selectors are a disgrace, have announced the same squad for the second test. Warnie teed off on the selectors this morning

Ian Chappell is always quick to voice his opinion when things go wrong and name names, if he's got a set he'll have a dip at his good mate Rod Marsh.
