I hate the Melbourne Stars, what a lineup of flogs (albeit talented ones).

Hopesfooly the Brisbane Heat coach learnt a lesson tonight
Mr Saburg and Mr Hopes are inferior hitters to Ben Cutting

Ben Cutting is one of the best hitters in the galaxy

As good as Jordan Silks catch
As good as Carberrys impersonation of Viv Richards
Was as bad as sending in Benny to late to bat

Hopes was a good man to come in. He's experienced and been the best player up there for some time. But when a guy's hitting them as well as Cutting is at the moment, you've got to get him in there. It became glaringly obvious when they were struggling to hit boundaries in the last 5 overs. Might not have changed the result, but to my way of thinking, you've got to get your best hitters into the game.
