Guys dont be a Botha hater! Agreed he must lead from the front, but i dont think he was bought in here 2 sure up are middle order! Thanks for feed back about overseas players. Could not remember what happened 2 Harris. May just need 2 stick with some young talent in middle and keep them there.

Look mate, he was my least favourite international player and now I have to try and find admiration for him, instead of chucking someone who's new to the scene and has produced nothing thus far I thought he could've grown a pair and had a go.
On the flipside, the young lad did an admirable job and would've gained some much needed confidence.

Botha batted brilliantly in the ryobi cup. He is bowling ok. But he just needs time 2 adjust. AS i have stated before he has that mongrel in him! He would be giving all the players the hard honest truth! Which is what we need! Apart from the sheffield shield, were we have been terrible. Other forms have been pretty good. Look at some other states performances and we are actually head of them in overall. I know im going 2 hear SS is only form that matters, but what makes the most money? Doing well in 20/20 gets internationals here, money through the gate. Which in the long run hopefully gets other players here.

I did'nt have a problem with Richardson batting 3. The 1st 2 wickets got through 25 overs, the last 8 exactly the same. Richo at 3 wasn't our problem.

In the old days of uncovered pitches didnt they quite often protect the batsman with lower order players?
We just don't have any batsman to protect ;)

This is were the Redbacks need to show some grit and finish them off, unlike the usual case of letting them pile on late runs!
