Interesting to hear Darren Berry have a fair crack at the grade system on Triple M this morning.
The facilities are poor, standard is poor and the talent pool isnt great, at least he is being honest

So as the bloke in charge of elite cricket is SA, did he propose any solutions or just sound like another bloke at hel pub having a whinge about it?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Would love to see a game between a combined side of fringe players that aren't making their own states 11 and the redbacks... Would a 'combined side' beat them?

as much as it pains me to say it - I think looking at the results this year that a combined second 11 could quite easy push the current redbacks side.

Have you looked at second 11 results as well? Ours has performed credibly this season, there is a fair gap still between second 11 and first class.

A "best of" other teams second XI from this current round would have Jaques, Maddinson, Birt, Johnstone, Drew, Doran, Feldman and Magoffin in it, not a bad start in terms of first class experience

Interested to know what people think, but if Haddin losses his gig in the Australian Team to Wade would it be worth the Redbacks making a big play to lure Haddin or Neville from NSW so we can get rid of our current spud keepers.

Either of these two would also add a lot more depth to our batting line up. Surely be no need for them both at NSW.

Even though im not a big fan of Hads surely he would be a more than handy acquisition for the backs.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Ive mentioned bringing in Peter Nevill for ages.
Haddin has been named for shield side on Friday against WA. Nevill may play as a specialist batsmen in this match. Id be having a real crack at him.
