WATSON
1ST Innings
whoooooosh 56 off about 59 balls
spinners on
block block block ...
1 run in next 29 balls
C DHONI B OHJA 57[88]

2ND Innings
whoooooshish 30 of about 40 balls
spinners on
block block block ....
1 run in the next 18 balls
LBW OHJA 31[58]

For anyone who thinks he should be batting middle order, forget it
He too often freezes vrs spin
opener averages 50+
middle order averages about 25

Watto needs a plan against spin, perhaps if he played more aggressively, as he does in the bashathon forms of the game

PS
Well done to India they have worn him down this tour
ton + ton tour game
ton + half ton 1st test
half ton + an abject failure of 31 2nd test

CLARKE STUMPED DHONI B OHJA 3

AU 3/65
Hussey in, Khawaja breathing down his neck ...

The rest of the batters need to attack a bit v spinners
Only Ponting or North look to have that capability and score large

Because I have it on at work (admittedly only turned it on after reading on this site about Tendulkar's dismissMAL), and it looks like Peter George is bowling WORSE THAN ANYONE to roll the arm over since Matthew Hayden.

In what way??
Spraying them or bowling short ****??

Both.

And generally not looking like taking a wicket either (apart from Sachin who got himself out, and a tail ender.)

 Am, Hello did you notice that the pitch is a F**king Road?! And the fact that India were batting Australia out of the game so can't they can't get a result?

I don't know about you but I would hate to make my test debut in India where the pitches are a batsman paradise. You might not notice but it's bloody hard for a fast bowler from Australia, South Africa, England, etc. to go to India and consistanly take wickets and do well there.

From what I saw George bowled quite well, given the current conditions and the fact that he's was bowling to the batsman in the world who is in a rich vain of form. He's a very talented bowler, the selectors obviously see something in him and will play for Australia in years to come.

WATTO was batting so I tuned in and kept watching as its a battle

MENU
Test cricket in India
In general
Dont watch days 1-2-3 as its a battingfest when teams make between 800-1000 runs in thier 1st digs
Watch more of days 4-5 as the decks deteriorate and the bowlers[especially spinners] get a chance and its a contest
And off course India pick a team for those conditions and they thrive

Ian Gould, you are a F**KING goose. also a joke of an umpire.
Another SHOCKING lbw decision against Hussey.
About 5 metres down the track to a ball thats spinning a mile.
Missing leg stump by a mile and Gould thinks about it for a milli second b4 firing him.
Complete and utter joke.

Hussey out LBW, another shocker from Ian Gould.
The ICC need to grow a pair and make the referral system mandatory for all Tests.

Disgraceful decission. Bring in referals for every test asap. Was that Hussey's final test? IMO he will start ashes but the wolves are getting closer. Time for North to show first innings wasnt fluke. We wont be safe until 250+ in front. Lot of work to go lads

FFS North that was pathetic. North's average in losing tests is around 6. The fat lady's warming up

Not sure what Media Park was watching? Besides a nervous few first overs on the 2nd day, George has bowled very well in the conditions. 2/48 off 21 overs are terrific figures. He started to get reverse swing this morning which assisted in his wickets.

NORTH
Im gunna bat for NORTH
The selectors have this decision, bat the guy at 3 or 4 and his form will more than likley prosper
Heez got this massive backlift and spinners will continue to embarrass him batting at 6
Heez a very good batsman batting 3 or 4 for WA and thats what got him into the side

He should be batting in front of CLARKE and HUSSEY in this line up
When u look at the line up, he is the most likely of all to make a ton

Well I don't think it's the one that is currently on. And 2/48 off 21, outstanding.

Also i dont care what anyway says about Ponting at this stage of his career because when he walks out to bat you know he is giving 110% for the baggy green and Australia as a nation.

Tim Paine is the future of Australian wicket keeping in tests, leave him in the team even when Brad Haddin is fit.

Figures look good- not denying that.

What I am saying is that based upon what I saw, he looked decidedly nonthreatening, very placid (most balls were in the early 130's compared to Hilf high 130's and Johnno in the 140's), most of the time the batsmen didn't have to play, but the fact that he only bowled three maidens leans towards the proof that the batsmen found it very easy to nudge him around and rotate the strike.

Now don't get me wrong.

He's a good, tall, young prospect, and his overuse of the short ball makes me glad that he doesn't lack any confidence, and he did look like a real trier, but I would say he's not there yet, and with Siddle fit, it is probably the best thing for PG's development that he'll be back to SA spearheading the attack after this game.

But if we want to continue the sparring, I would say that he should be very used to how to bowl, and how to take wickets, on batsman friendly tracks, with his home ground being Adelaide Oval.

Clarke's in horrible form, no doubting that.

But even in horrid form he's better than the SPUD NORTH. Look at his dismissal, what a joke.

Clarke is better than NORTH and HUSSEY.

Bring in KHAWAJA and HUGHES/FERG.

Go for the trifecta if you wanna get rid of Clarke.

Bring in Khawaja, could use a nice double century right about now....

In all seriousness though i dont think australia's batting is under as much duress as their bowling.....we look more of a chance of scoring 400 in an inn than taking 20 wickets which is a huge concern.
